Updating group policies sailors only dating
ok did a move about two weeks ago from an old Small biz server 2003 to server 2008 R2 we had a file redriect going for the mydocs on the old SBS 03 server.
moved all the files to the new R2 server and told the GP that the new home folder was on the new R2 server.
Delete (or rename) the affected profile folder and the corresponding registry items for the user (HKLM\software\microsoft\windows nt\current version\profilelist\s-1-5-21-xxxxx), and try logging them in again.
Is there anyway to override this specific policy for my machine or my user?
Several installed applications are Microsoft based, but are not part of the machine standard (eg Visual studio).
As an IT Administrator, there are many times when I make a change to Group Policy in Active Directory and need to manually refresh the policy on a client machine.
Depending on which OS you are running, the command to refresh group policy is different.
Many updates are in relation to security vulnerabilities that could put the whole network at risk if left unpatched.
